工芸ブランドの中から「黒」を集めたライフスタイルブランド「#000 BLACK KOGEI」の加賀ゆびぬき（森本道恵 作）。

金沢に古くから伝わる工芸品「加賀ゆびぬき」を、黒糸のみで制作しました。
本作は、男性が実際に裁縫用の指貫として使用できるメンズサイズ仕様。さらに、内径約2cmのサイズ感を活かし、女性のスカーフリングとしてもお使いいただけます。

「指貫」は、本来裁縫道具として用いられる実用品です。着物を仕立てるお針子たちが、残り糸を用いて自らの仕事道具を美しく彩り始めたことが、「加賀ゆびぬき」の起源といわれています。

通常の加賀ゆびぬきは、色とりどりの糸によって複雑で華やかな幾何学模様を表現します。しかし #000 BLACK KOGEI では、あえて黒糸のみを使用。糸の流れや角度によって生まれる繊細な光沢の差が、静かな陰影となって紋様を浮かび上がらせます。

森本道恵氏による丹念な手仕事によって仕立てられた本作は、実用品としての機能性と、工芸品としての造形美を兼ね備えた一品。

A traditional craft of Kanazawa, the “Kaga Yubinuki” has been reimagined using only black thread.
This piece is crafted in a men’s size that can be used as an actual sewing thimble, while its approximately 2cm inner diameter also allows it to function beautifully as a women’s scarf ring.

Originally, the yubinuki was a practical sewing tool. It is said that Kaga Yubinuki began when kimono seamstresses started adorning their own work tools with leftover threads, transforming utility into ornament.

Traditional Kaga Yubinuki are typically known for their vivid colors and intricate geometric patterns. However, #000 BLACK KOGEI deliberately employs only black thread. The subtle variations in sheen created by the direction and layering of the threads reveal quiet patterns through light and shadow.

Meticulously handcrafted by Michie Morimoto, this piece embodies both the functionality of a practical tool and the sculptural beauty of traditional craftsmanship.
