金沢の伝統工芸「加賀てまり」の老舗「毬屋」の小出隆氏が、一針一針に魂を込めて作り上げたプロダクト。
本来、加賀てまりは色鮮やかな絹糸が交差し、複雑で華やかな幾何学模様を描き出す工芸品です。しかし、「#000 BLACK KOGEI」はそこから一切の「色彩」を奪い去りました。色というヴェールを剥ぎ取った後に残るのは、少しの淀みや歪みさえも許されない、つくり手にとっての残酷なまでの純粋な挑戦です。
■ 視覚的ノイズを消し去る、純粋なる「黒」
敢えて黒糸（#000）のみで構成された球体は、周囲のノイズを無音に帰し、素材の息遣いと狂いなき職人の技だけを鮮烈に浮かび上がらせます。糸を張る方向、そのわずかな角度の違いが生み出す光沢のコントラストのみで、模様が静かに、そして確かな意思を持って現れます。

加賀てまりは古くは子供たちの玩具でした。今はインテリアとして、お部屋に飾られる工芸品です。加賀てまりは振ると柔らかい音が鳴るのが特徴です。音が良く鳴ると、持っている人の運も良くなると言われています。金沢へは、江戸時代に加賀藩主に徳川家から嫁いだ珠姫様が持ってきたのが始まりと言われています。金沢では娘が嫁ぐ時に、幸せを願って持たせるという習慣があります。毬屋では、土台作りから模様のひと針ひと針まで伝統的な作り方ですべて手づくりで製作しております。美しく縁起の良い加賀てまりを、お手元に置いてお楽しみください。

#000 Kaga Temari "Uzumaki" (Spiral) 14cm — Endless Swirls and Sculptural Beauty Revealed by Pitch Black —
An experimental product crafted stitch by stitch with the utmost dedication by Takashi Koide of "Mariya," a long-established workshop of Kanazawa's traditional craft, Kaga Temari.
Traditionally, Kaga Temari are crafts where vibrantly colored threads intersect to draw complex and gorgeous geometric patterns. However, "#000 BLACK KOGEI" has stripped away all "color" from this tradition. What remains after peeling off the veil of color is a cruelly pure challenge for the artisan, where not the slightest hesitation or distortion is forgiven.
■ Pure "Black" that Erases Visual Noise
The sphere, intentionally constructed entirely of black thread (#000), reduces surrounding noise to silence, vividly bringing out only the breath of the material and the unerring skill of the craftsman. The pattern emerges quietly, yet with firm intent, solely through the contrast of luster created by the direction of the taut threads and slight differences in their angles.
■ "Uzumaki" Inviting Deep Immersion and Overwhelming Presence
Applied to this piece is a dynamic, endlessly continuing "Uzumaki" (spiral) pattern. The flowing lines drawn in a single black hue create an infinite gradient of light and shadow, sharpening the senses of those who hold it and drawing them into deep immersion.

In ancient times, Kaga Temari were children's toys. Today, they are crafted art pieces displayed as interior décor. A defining characteristic of Kaga Temari is the soft sound they make when shaken. It is said that the better the sound, the better the luck of the person holding it. The tradition is said to have begun in Kanazawa during the Edo period when Princess Tamahime, who married into the Kaga Domain from the Tokugawa family, brought them with her. In Kanazawa, there is a custom of giving a Temari to a daughter when she marries, wishing for her happiness. At Mariya, everything is handmade using traditional methods, from creating the base to stitching the patterns needle by needle.
